Our bees are locally adapted and raised in the Missouri Ozarks for strength, productivity, and resilience. We raise our own queens from our healthiest, most productive hives to build strong colonies with proven local genetics.

Our hives are carefully monitored for varroa mites and treated only when needed using organic acids—never routine chemical treatments. Raised in the woods and pastures of the Ozark Mountains, our bees are also far from large-scale agriculture and ag chemicals.

We are located between the towns of Willow Springs, Mountain View, and Houston, MO. Delivery can be arranged to Rolla, MO or Springfield, MO.

Honey Bee Nucs for Sale - $225

We offer Ozark-raised nucleus colonies (nucs) from late March through July, with options for both overwintered nucs and spring nucs.

Our overwintered nucs are available first in late March to early April. These are especially desirable because they have already survived winter and contain a proven queen raised the previous spring. They are strong, well-established, and ready to build quickly. Availability is limited, and they sell out fast.

Our spring nucs are available from May through July. These are freshly made in the spring and include new queens from the current year, giving you healthy, locally raised bees ready to grow through the season.

Whether you are starting new hives or expanding your apiary, our nucs offer locally adapted Ozark bees, strong queens, and a solid start for your beekeeping season.
